Attorney-General Martin Pakula today announced the appointment of Andrea Tsalamandris as a judge of the County Court of Victoria.

Ms Tsalamandris has more than 21 years’ legal experience and will bring a wealth of expertise in civil and personal injury law to the bench.

Prior to her appointment, Ms Tsalamandris was a partner at Adviceline Injury Lawyers, a division of Holding Redlich, and headed the Personal Injuries Department.

A strong advocate for pro bono legal services, she acted for members of the Stolen Generation and has served as a Relationship Partner with the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law.

Ms Tsalamandris holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.
