ELECTION COMMITMENT: $4.5 MILLION FOR BETTER SPORTING FACILITIES AT DINGLEY RESERVE

Families in Dingley Village will be able to enjoy great local sporting facilities, with a re-elected Andrews Labor Government to deliver $4.5 million towards new amenities for Souter and Corrigan Ovals at Dingley Reserve.

This funding will refurbish and expand the existing facilities, upgrade the changerooms to meet AFL guidelines and accommodate the growth of local clubs.

The pavilion will include new female friendly changerooms and bathrooms, universal disability access, umpire’s facilities (both male and female) and more storage. It will also aim to meet environmental sustainability requirements by capturing rainwater for use.

Whether it’s watching or playing cricket or footy, or having a kick with the kids on the weekend, I know how much this upgrade will mean for families.
