Keysborough College gets a new in-school health service
Keysborough College Acacia Campus students will soon have regular access to a doctor at school, with the school chosen to be one of 100 taking part in the Andrews Government’s new Doctors in Secondary Schools program.
Keysborough College is a fantastic local school and this program will ensure that local students can get the healthcare they need. The school will partner with local doctors who will visit up to one day a week, with students able to get referrals to specialists and the help they need before it affects their studies.
The $43.8 million Doctors in Secondary Schools initiative is delivering on our election commitment to place GPs in up to 100 Victorian government secondary schools up to one day a week to provide medical advice and health care to those students most in need. By providing health services directly to students at Keysborough College, we’re delivering on our commitment to making the Education State accessible to all Victorians.
