Springvale Library will be transformed with a $750,000 grant from the Andrews Labor Government to build a brand new facility.

I recently joined City of Greater Dandenong Mayor Jim Memeti to announce the grant, which will deliver a new building with twice as much floor space, extra rooms, an outdoor reading space and a technology lab.

The new and improved Springvale Library is part of a broader $32 million City of Greater Dandenong project to transform the former Town Hall site into a dynamic community hub, with additional meeting spaces, council customer service centre, a café and outdoor recreation spaces.

Our libraries aren’t just great learning spaces for local families, they’re important community hubs. This investment in Springvale Library will deliver the facilities our community deserves.
