Today I visited Chef’s Pantry in Braeside with Minister for Industry and Employment Ben Carroll and Manager Daniel Grunfeld, to announce a $90,000 grant from the Future Industries Manufacturing Program to support this fantastic local food manufacturer and distributor.

This grant allows Chef’s Pantry to invest in new technology to ramp up production and hire 12 new staff.

The Andrews Labor Government has committed over $100 million in manufacturing support, helping to create over 3,500 new jobs and drive more than $1.2 billion in private investment across the state.

It’s fantastic to see this local business to go from strength to strength, and the investment from the Andrews Labor Government will mean more export opportunities and new jobs for our community.
